Caldwell-Calvin Junior “Bud” Morrison, 75, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2018, at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center.
Born Aug. 16, 1943, at Renick, he was the son of the late Ottie Ray and Vernie Jane Cochran Morrison.
He had worked for Camp Alleghany as a caretaker.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by sisters, Audrey Stanley, Mary Windon and Louise Morrison and brothers, Archie Morrison and Raymond Morrison.
Survivors include his loving wife of 55 years, Lucy Anna Powers Morrison; sons, Calvin “Lee” Morrison (Amy) of Lewisburg and Jeff Morrison (Susan) of Ronceverte; daughter, Patty Morrison of Caldwell; brothers, Sam Morrison (Peggy) of Hinesville, GA, James Morrison (Gloria) of Renick and Pete Morrison (Julie) of Renick; sisters, Stella Reinholt of Lewisburg, Sadie Windon of Fairlea, Nellie Farley (Herman) of White Sulphur Springs and Nancy Liptrap (Wayne) of Marlinton; grandchildren, Jessica, Joshua, Tyler, Luke and Nathaniel Morrison; several nieces and nephews; and a good friend, Greg Reynolds.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 10, at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dale Elwell officiating. Burial will follow in the Morningside Cemetery, Renick.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of the service, Saturday, at the funeral home.
