At least 30 vendors are scheduled to be at Greenbrier East High School Saturday, Nov. 17, for the Greenbrier East Bands Arts and Crafts Show and Sale. There is no admission and the public is invited.
The vendors are from central and southwest Virginia and central and southern West Virginia, and also include three groups from the high school student body.
“There is still time to register as a vendor, as we are having the show in the commons area and cafeteria of the over 1,000 student-body high school, located on US 219 South in Fairlea,” noted Elaine Jasperse of White Sulphur Springs, chairman of the show. Prospective vendors can register at gehsbandboosters@gmail.com or text her at 304-667-4262.
The show will be open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will include the Greenbrier East Band’s offering plate and sandwich lunches, as well as baked goods suitable for freezing until the holiday dinners or small treats for snacks, she added.
“I was very pleasantly amazed at the variety of offerings that will be available that day for the holiday shopper or collectors,” she added. Jewelry, artwork, religious Christmas cards, hand crafted works of all kinds including quilts and the GEHS Pro-Start class will be offering various foods to take home for the holiday meals or for use at dear camps the next week.
Various small instrumental units of the Greenbrier East instrumental music program will perform in the commons area during the show times.
