The Lewisburg Farmers Market is excited to announce the opening of their Winter Indoor Market on Saturday, Nov. 10, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Gus R. Douglass Annex Building (beside of the WV Building) at the WV State Fairgrounds.
The indoor market will continue to offer all of the wonderful locally grown and produced items that our customers have come to love and expect. These items include chicken, pork, lamb, vegetables, fruits, free range eggs, herbs, baked goods, garlic, jams, jellies, syrups, crafts, calendars, and much more. If you are looking for something special for those on your holiday gift lists, the Indoor Market is the place to shop.
The LFM Cafe will also be opening this Saturday, Nov. 10, from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Gus Douglass building. Using local ingredients from our farmers and vendors, the cafe will offer the following menu items: Farm egg and sausage sandwich for $3.75; local greens salad plate with four sides for $6; kale, veggie and cheese bake with side for $5; local pork meatball sandwich with side for $5; and an egg salad or hummus sandwich with side for $5. Sides include potato salad, hummus, egg salad, and coleslaw each for $1.75, so come out and have breakfast or lunch while you shop!
Our LFM vendors appreciate our community and customers and look forward to seeing you at our indoor location at the WV State Fairgrounds. Come out and support your local farmer, and bring your appetite, too.
