Are you interested in making a difference in the lives of children?
Do you have an hour per week to spend with a child who could really use some encouragement? If so, Communities in Schools of Greenbrier County will hold a mentor and tutoring orientation for anyone who wants to make a difference in our future.
The seminar will be held Sept. 24 from 12 noon to 1:15 p.m. at the Main Building Classroom 2 of the WV School of Osteopathic Medicine. Lunch and refreshments will be served. This is free to anyone interested in mentoring or tutoring K through 12 students in ten schools in Greenbrier County. If you are planning on attending, please contact Amber McHale, executive director, Communities in Schools of Greenbrier County, at amchale@cisgc.org or call the office at 304-661-1018.
