Anthony-Emelie Cooke Hinzman, 85, passed away Wednesday Aug. 15, 2018, at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center.
Emelie was born May 4, 1933, on Loops Road in Rainelle, the daughter of the late Wyatte Clark and Ila Marguerite Skidmore Callison.
She was a member of Anthony Baptist Church, founding member of Northern Greenbrier Ambulance Service, and worked at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center. Mostly known as camp manager from 1955 to 2004 of Greenbrier County Youth Camp.
Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands; Robert Lee Cooke, Sr. and Hayward Hinzman; brother, Howard Erman Callison; and stepson, Billy Hinzman.
Surviving are: children, Robert Lee Cooke, Jr. and wife Donna, Ronda Cooke Dolan and husband Tommy, John Mark Cooke and wife Wendy, stepson David Hinzman and wife Becky; step-daughter-in-law, Becky Hinzman; grandchildren, Robert Lee Cooke III and wife Carrie, Eric David Cooke and wife Trisha, Danny Morgan and wife Hallie and Michael Christopher Dolan and wife Josie; brother and sisters, Natalie Childers, Jim Callison and Nancy Camp and husband Rev. Lloyd Camp; and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Emelie were held Sunday, Aug. 19, at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg where Rev. Lloyd Camp and Pastor Daniel Bennett officiated. Interment followed in Rosewood Cemetery in Lewisburg.
The family received their family and friends Saturday evening, Aug. 18, at the funeral home.
