Dear Editor:
After suffering a recent stroke, it was necessary for me to spend some time in some healthcare facilities in this area in which I live.
My very good friends took me to Greenbrier Valley Medical Center, where I had worked as an RN many years ago. After being admitted for a few days, I received very good care from doctors, nursing staff and all involved. I was in need of therapy in an assisted care facility before I could come home. I found excellent physical and occupational therapy at The Seasons. In addition to that care, I also found everyone there: Executive Director, Nursing staff, Housekeeping, Dietary, Maintenance and Social Services all to be very considerate and thoughtful while I was there.
In addition I want to thank all those whose prayers, visits and cards have been so instrumental in my improvement. I am sure there are others who can make the same claims for other facilities but I speak for those in which I have received care.
