On May 4 in honor of Lunch Hero Day, many classrooms at Ronceverte Elementary School created activities to show the ladies that work so hard in our cafeteria how much they are appreciated.
Classrooms made cards, wrote poems, told stories, and a few classes even serenaded them!
“These ladies are truly heroes. They are at school early every day, serve breakfast and lunch to around 400 students, and still manage to have the time to create a bond with the students that says we care about you,” said Mrs. Johnson.
