Ronceverte-Francis “Frank” D. Neuner, 89, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2017, at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Fairlea.

He was a retired United States Navy Veteran having served over 20 years; after retiring, he also worked for Ambler Construction, the Board of Education, and Greenbrier Physicians.

Frank was born in Queens, NY, on Aug. 28, 1928, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Neuner.

Other than his parents, Frank was preceded by five brothers; and a grandchild, Jonas Martin.

Survivors include daughter, Joyce Marie Peek of Salt Lake City, UT; sons, Richard H. Peek and wife Patricia, and James S. Peek both of Ronceverte; grandchildren, Matthew Landers and wife Desiree, Andrew Landers and wife Jessica, Christina Defibaugh and husband Jason all of Ronceverte, and Holly Stephan and husband Joel of Salt Lake City, UT; great-grandchildren, Sara Defibaugh, Peyton Landers, Sophia Landers, Kamilla Landers, Melody Stephan, Samuel Stephan, David Stephan, and Levi Stephan.

There was a celebration of life on Friday evening, Dec. 22, at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Ronceverte.
