Nearly 100 pounds of gently used men’s, women’s, and children’s winter coats and other winter garments was delivered on Friday, Dec. 8, to the Monroe County Family Resource Network (FRN) Center in Union, by the Alleghany Highlands Council 8689 Knights of Columbus.
Gathered from donation centers at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Ronceverte and St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in White Sulphur Springs, the winter-weather garments were divided between the FRN centers in Pocahontas and Monroe counties, and a food pantry distribution center in Greenbrier County.
