LEWISBURG – Carnegie Hall is proud to become the permanent home of the West Virginia Music Hall of Fame Exhibit this August.
To kick off this partnership, the public is invited to meet and greet Hall of Fame Founder and Director, Michael Lipton, on Thursday, Aug. 10 at 4:30 p.m. prior to the evening’s Ivy Terrace Concert featuring The Hillbilly Gypsies.
This ongoing exhibit will feature a rotating selection of memorabilia, artwork, photographs, show posters, stage clothes, instruments, and recordings from artists who have made their mark on the musical landscape of West Virginia. Past inductees into the West Virginia Music Hall of Fame include Kathy Mattea, Bill Withers, and Hazel Dickens, and Tim O’Brien.
