The Williamsburg CEOS Club held their regular monthly meeting June 13, at the Williamsburg District Historical Foundation Museum. Attending were members Cassandria Perkins, Blanche Knicely, Virginia Hanna, Patricia Post, Barbara Deeds, Loretta Shirley and Dorothy Hayes. Burl and Nora Post were present as guests. A lunch prepared by Patricia Post was enjoyed after the meeting with the blessing asked by Burl Post. Devotion entitled “Where Is Your Trust?” was read by Virginia Hanna, with the scripture of Jeremiah 17:7.
The lesson “More Meat for Your Money” was presented by Patricia Post. Members participated by sharing their recipes of less expensive meat dishes. Cassandria Perkins gave a report on,the Greenbrier County CEOS Achievement Day. A collection of food was made for the Food Pantry in Williamsburg.
The next meeting will be July 11 at the home of Loretta Shirley. Anyone interested in joining may contact any of the above members or call the WVU extension office in Fairlea.
