Greenbrier Valley Campus students in the New River Community and Technical College School of Practical Nursing are conducting a food drive to benefit area families this holiday season.
The students have established collection points in the reception area of Greenbrier Hall, 101 Church Street in Lewisburg; in Building B of the Lee Street Complex, 402 N. Lee Street, Lewisburg (former Lewisburg Elementary School); and at the Kroger in Fairlea. They are requesting canned goods and nonperishable food items. All donations will be given to Quinwood Community Food Service. The drive runs through the end of November.
New River Community and Technical College is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year. The college serves nine counties in southeastern West Virginia from five locations: Mercer County Campus (Princeton), Nicholas County Campus (Summersville), Beckley Campus, Greenbrier Valley Campus (Lewisburg) and the Advanced Technology Center (Ghent). Administrative offices are located in Beckley.
