Elementary Schools in Greenbrier County will each receive a $300 donation from Lewisburg Church of Christ (LCOC) to help meet the needs of students impacted by floods. This generous donation to the county’s nine public elementary schools was presented to Superintendent Jeff Bryant (right) and Lynne Bostic, director of Elementary Education (left) by Corey Stacy, minister of Lewisburg Church of Christ (second from left) and Sam Banton, LCOC elder and retired Greenbrier County Schools educator (second from right). The Lewisburg Church of Christ, with support from affiliated churches and donors across the region, has assisted in a variety of ways since the day of the flood. The church has provided food, clothing, furniture, household items, supplies, labor and financial support to assist impacted individuals and communities.
