In what has become a Lenten season tradition, the Alleghany Highlands Council 8689 Knights of Columbus will be serving fried or baked fish dinners beginning Friday, Feb. 12 and continuing for the six Fridays of Lent at the Parker Center behind the Emmanuel United Methodist Church in downtown White Sulphur Springs.
“We are pleased to announce that the prices will be the same as last year with adults $11; children 5-12, $6; all you care to eat-eat in only $15; and a special family plan (two adults two children) $25,” Perk Berry, grand knight of the Alleghany Highlands Council Knights of Columbus reported.
Proceeds from the dinners go to support community, youth, church, council and other charity projects and programs of the local Knights of Columbus.
The dinners include fried or baked tilapia, scalloped potatoes, cole slaw, hard rolls, drinks and desserts and take-out orders are available.
