The Rupert Public Library summer reading program was a great success. One day the children attending enjoyed making HERO masks and even a homemade cape. They are so talented! The Friends of the Library conducted the reading program. Their theme was “Every Hero Has a Story.” Several Heroes told their story during the summer weeks. We heard stories from Sheriff Deputy Huddnall, the Rupert Fire Department, Nurse Pam Edens, Tricky Chaz Magic & Juggling show and the Rainelle Army National Guard. Volunteers included Nancy Cueto, Deloris Lilly, Glenda Killen, Janice Welsh, Cleo Novak and Sue Nickell.
