Rose Dobbins will be exhibiting her work in the Auditorium at Carnegie Hall. The show titled “Images of My World” includes landscapes of some of her favorite memories as well as animal portraits.
Rose has lived in the Lewisburg area with her husband since 2006. She works primarily in pastels and is known for her portraiture of pets capturing the spirit of the animal in their eyes. Recently Rose ventured into landscapes using an under-painting technique that gives an excitement of color to the painting.
Rose is a signature member of the West Virginia Watercolor Society, a juried member of Tamarack and a member of the Greenbrier Artists which meets every Thursday, September through May at Carnegie Hall. Rose sells her work in the Colony Gallery at the Greenbrier.
The show will run from July 20 to Aug. 29.
