The annual HospiceCare 10K Race and Fun Walk will be held on Saturday, Apr. 11, at 9 a.m. as part of the Lewisburg Chocolate Festival and will benefit the new Peyton Hospice House.
The scenic 6.2 mile race begins at the Greenbrier Valley Airport, crosses 219 North and follows the rolling hills of Fairview Road into downtown Lewisburg, finishing in front of the Greenbrier County Courthouse. Race day registration ($25) will take place at The Greenbrier Valley Airport beginning at 7:30 a.m.
They will also be holding a Fun Walk the same day at 9 a.m. in front of the downtown branch of First National Bank. The fee is $10 for registration. Registration will be held in the lobby of the bank from 8:15-8:45 a.m. There is a separate application for the walk. Pre-registration for the walk guarantees a T-shirt.
