Two community education classes will be held at New River Community and Technical College’s Greenbrier Valley Campus in April.
Basic Computer Classes will be held on Thursday evenings from 6 to 8 p.m. from Apr. 16 through May 7. Instructor: Deena Rodgers. This workshop will teach basic computer skills and an introduction to Microsoft Word. The content will include instruction on how to Google information; how to create folders; how to save and manage files; and how to upload pictures. The cost is $100. Please register by Apr. 9.
A Comprehensive Ammunition Reloading Course will be held on Thursday evenings from 6 to 9 p.m. from Apr. 23 through May 14. Instructor: Kenny Hayes. The workshop will include instruction on how to reload your own ammunition, which may offer cost savings and improved accuracy over store-bought ammunition. The cost is $100, not including the textbook “Reloading Manual 49th Edition.” There also will be a supply fee based upon the caliber of the weapon not to exceed $50. A gun is not required for this class, and there are no guns allowed on campus. Please register by Apr. 13.
