Greenbrier GOP Dinner
The Greenbrier County Republican Party will have its annual dinner on Saturday night at the Lewisburg Quality Inn at 6:30 p.m.. Speakers will include Senator Shelley Moore Capito, Secretary of State Kris Warner, and former WVU Lineman and Purple Heart recipient Teddy Daniels. Also honored will be Staff Sergeant Andrew Wolfe, the WV National Guardsman shot in DC last year. He will be accepting the Soaring Eagle award.
Williamsburg Shooting Match
The Williamsburg Shooting Match hopes to see you on Oct. 3. The match will begin at 7 p.m.
Come early! Come Hungry! Bring your family. Delicious hot food and refreshments will be available starting at 6 p.m. Families welcomed; you don’t have to shoot to come get a meal. The match will be eight rounds, 12-gauge guns only. Full choke, .660 inch minimum. Screw in chokes must be from a recognized supplier (patented) and extend no more than 3 inches beyond original barrel. Barrel length 34” maximum. First seven rounds @ $2.50 per shot, eighth round 50/50 @$7.50 per shot. Shooters must compete in the first 7 rounds in order to compete in the 8th round. 50/50 splatter match is $1 per chance between rounds – Cash prizes will be awarded. You do not need to be a shooter to win! The match will be held at the Community Building 6571 Shoestring Trail, Williamsburg, WV. We hope to see you all there.
