On Nov. 11, at Hermon Methodist Church in Renick, Tracy Brownell from Senior Friends together with the Mountain Movers 4-H Club honored and welcomed 15 veterans along with their families to eat lunch.
Anna Pack, president; Sophia House, reporter; and Trevor Dixon, health agent led with a poem, pledge, and prayer. Fourteen club members helped with the dinner.
The dinner was made by Senior Friends, and dessert made by 4-H members.
