Currently on display in the Old Stone Room at Carnegie Hall is the 26th Annual Season of Colors Juried Art Exhibition. This year’s theme is “We Just Live Here.” The exhibit is comprised of photographs only. To qualify, entries must have been created within the last two years, not larger than 50” in any direction, and not previously shown at Carnegie Hall. 35 artists entered 102 works to be considered for the Season of Colors Exhibition. Judges for the exhibit were: Mary Baldwin (Lewisburg), Michael Keller (Charleston) and John Farrell (Talcott).
Awards were presented at the opening reception on Sept. 4. The following entries were awarded cash prizes for:
• Best of Show – “Talcott Store” by William Brezinkski
• First Place – “Meadowland” by Clayton Spangler
• Second Place – “Midway 1” by Mary Grassell
• Third Place – “Last Leaf” by Jeanne Brenneman
The exhibit will be on display through Oct. 24, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Saturday from 1-4 p.m. Many of the works are available for purchase. The purchase of artwork exhibiting at Carnegie Hall benefits both the artist and the Hall.
