Shooting Match in Williamsburg

at the Williamsburg Community building Saturday, Dec. 3, at 7 p.m. The match is eight rounds. 12 gauge guns only, seven rounds at $2 per shot, eighth round 50/50 at $5 per shot. Shooters must compete in all initial seven rounds to qualify for round eight, 50/50 splatter match is $1 per chance between rounds. Cash prizes will be awarded. Food and refreshments will be available. Proceeds will benefit the Williamsburg community service projects. The event is sponsored by the Williamsburg Ruritan Club and Williamsburg Community Action. While there, ask about other Ruritan activities and opportunities.

AHMH December schedule

American Heritage Music Hall, Inc., 315 Monroe Avenue, Ronceverte, open their doors at 6 p.m., music 7 to 10:30 p.m. Admission: Tuesdays: $7/each, Saturdays: $10/each. Pop-Up Greeting Card class

The Ronceverte Public Library will have a free fun holiday class Tuesday, Dec. 6 from 5 to 7 p.m. taught by Sharon Ginsburg on the art of kirigami – making greeting cards that pop-up three dimensional when opened. Kirigami is a Japanese word that means to cut paper. Using a basic technique and cutting a heart, star, ornament or animal shape, multi-layered pop-up cards are

readily produced. All papers and materials will be provided. Bring a small sharp scissors if you already have one. Call the Ronceverte Public Library at 304-647-7400 for more information.

Christmas Centerpiece Workshop

The White Sulphur Springs Public Library is partnering with Gillespie’s Flowers and Productions to bring a hands-on Christmas centerpiece workshop to the public on Thursday, Dec. 8, at 2 p.m. Discover how to create a beautiful centerpiece that can grace any holiday table. The workshop is free to patrons who bring their own centerpiece materials or simply wish to observe. Gillespie’s will provide centerpiece materials at the cost of $10 to patrons who wish to take their centerpiece home. The library is located at 344 Main Street West in White Sulphur Springs. Come one, come all to the Children’s Story and Craft Time at the White Sulphur Springs Public Library. Does your child like a good story? How about hands-on arts and crafts fun followed by a tasty snack? Stop by the White Sulphur Springs Public Library Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. and you’ll be sure to find both.
