This year, there are 21 boys and eight girls on the Eastern Greenbrier Middle School Gold Team. Coach Terry Coon says, “We’re so happy that we have this many girls. Six are in sixth grade and two are seventh grade. We have a great group!”
For the last two matches, one on Apr. 19 and one on Apr. 26, both at the Lewisburg Elks Club, other invited schools could not come. Therefore, all 29 EGMS players played a Captain’s Choice or Best Ball, and really enjoyed playing for fun with different team mates.
