Carnegie Hall welcomes Della Mae, the Grammy‑nominated, all‑woman string band known for their electrifying musicianship, global reach, and unwavering commitment to elevating women and girls in music. The performance takes place on Saturday, Apr. 11, at 7 p.m. as part of the Hall’s acclaimed Mainstage Performance Series. Guests are invited to come early for the free Club Carnegie Preshow Reception from 6 to 6:45 p.m. in the Board Room located adjacent to the Hamilton Auditorium. A cash bar and snacks are available.
Founded by award‑winning fiddle player Kimber Ludiker, Della Mae features powerhouse vocalist and guitarist Celia Woodsmith, dynamic guitarist Avril Smith, and acclaimed bassist Vickie Vaughn. Hailing from across North America and shaped by a wide range of musical traditions, the quartet has earned a reputation as one of the most charismatic and engaging roots bands touring today.
With performances spanning more than 30 countries, Della Mae has used their music as a bridge for cultural exchange, peacebuilding, and connection. Their mission extends beyond the stage: the band is dedicated to showcasing top female musicians and expanding opportunities for women and girls through advocacy, mentorship, programming, and performance.

Tickets are $42/adult and $20/student and only a limited number of tickets are still available. Thanks to the Carnegie Cardinal Fund, Greenbrier County Students attend for free, but still must reserve a seat. If you are deaf or hard of hearing, please request seats on audience left as the interpreter will be situated on stage right.
