The Williamsburg Community Educational Outreach Service Club (CEOS) learned and shared many ways to be ready in an emergency while participating in the WVU Extension lesson “Emergency Preparedness 101” presented by LauraAnn Tiller at the club’s September meeting held at the Williamsburg Historical Foundation Museum.
Members are looking forward to co-hosting the Greenbrier County CEOS Fall Leadership Day at the Renick Community Center on Sept. 16. The program will be “Securing Your Senior Years.”
Lyne Jones will be presenting the club lesson “Echoes of the Past: Creative Writing for Legacy Building” at the Oct. 14 club meeting to be held at 700 Tyree Road in Williamsburg. All are welcome to come for a covered dish lunch and fellowship beginning at noon.
For more information about the CEOS and review the CEOS lessons please check the WVU Extension Family and Community Development website or call the WVU Greenbrier County Extension Office at 304-647-7408.
