WVTrails, a statewide coalition dedicated to expanding and connecting West Virginia’s trail systems, will host a regional trail meeting in the Greenbrier Valley on Tuesday, Oct. 7 at 6 p.m. at the Greenbrier Valley Visitor’s Center at 905 Washington Street W, Lewisburg.
The event will bring together trail advocates, community leaders, and outdoor enthusiasts – including both hikers, bikers, equestrians, and off-road enthusiasts – to strengthen advocacy efforts and advance opportunities for outdoor recreation across the state.
The Greenbrier Valley Off-Road Bicycling Association (GVORBA) is proud to partner with WVTrails to support this important initiative. “Trails are one of the best investments we can make in our communities – whether you’re a biker, hiker, or simply enjoy a walk in the woods,” said Clay Elkins, president of GVORBA. “We’re excited to partner with WVTrails and connect the Greenbrier Valley to a larger statewide movement that ensures more safe, accessible places for everyone to explore.”
As part of WVTrails’ ongoing series of regional meetings, this gathering will provide updates on trail-related initiatives, foster collaboration among local and regional organizations, and invite the public to help shape the vision for West Virginia’s growing trail network.
The event is free and open to all. Attendees can register or learn more at wvtrail.org/upcoming-events-1.
