The City of White Sulphur Springs, in partnership with the Greater Greenbrier Chamber of Commerce and Greenbrier County Convention and Visitors Bureau, invites the community to participate in a virtual happy hour sharing and celebrating the positive energy and many new projects in the works throughout the Spa City. On Thursday, Oct. 1, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., several community leaders, stakeholders, and volunteers will share news via Zoom.
Event organizers are seeking speakers who have news to share about initiatives impacting White Sulphur Springs. People from every facet of community life are encouraged to participate. Representatives from social services, senior services, and new infrastructure are welcome.
Are you a volunteer working on a little-known project? Have a heart-warming story about youth sports? Working on a positive addiction recovery initiative? Have an idea for a project that needs a little awareness or support? Know a teacher who did something amazing? If it’s good news and it impacts the vitality of White Sulphur Springs, your story is welcome. Political presentations will not be permitted.
Speakers will be limited to two minutes to share their bit of news. This fast-paced, high-energy happy hour will bring the community together to celebrate and build upon the momentum White Sulphur Springs is currently experiencing.
Community members who don’t wish to speak but want to join the video conference are also encouraged to tune in. To join the virtual meeting as an observer, no registration is required, simply join via Zoom at the scheduled time.
