Last week was National Fire Prevention Week. Students at White Sulphur Springs Elementary were invited to participate in a fire prevention safety poster contest.
Members of the White Sulphur Springs Fire Department spent time at WSSE doing classroom demonstrations on fire safety – with a focus on the importance of smoke alarms. Students were also able to experience a “SmokeHouse” simulation and practice how to safely exit a home that is on fire. WSSE looks forward to learning valuable fire safety tips from our local first responders each year.
