The Greenbrier County Elder Abuse Awareness Committee commemorated World Elder Abuse Awareness Day on Wednesday, June 15. On this day across Greenbrier County community members wore silver ribbons to raise awareness of resources available to prevent elder abuse. In addition, the Elder Abuse Awareness Committee held a wreath hanging in honor of Elder Abuse Awareness. The wreath hangs over the front doors of the Greenbrier County Courthouse.
