First place winners from the Lewisburg Christmas Parade are as follows:
Jolene Workman and her mini horse, Sundance, for favorite animal; Images of Dance for favorite walking group; Lance Syner for favorite walker; Little Rascals for favorite float; Lewisburg Volunteer Fire Department for favorite rescue vehicle; David Morgan 1969 Volkswagen Camper for favorite automobile; and Lilly Lane for the most festive entry overall.
Second place winners are the following: Lewisburg Steelers football team for the walking group; Lewisburg Ribeiro Jiu-Jitsu in the float division; Mike Sheridan Pigs Fly Food Truck in the automobile category; and White Sulphur Springs Emergency Medical Squad for the favorite rescue vehicle.
Mayor Manchester and the city of Lewisburg thanks High Rocks Educational Corporation and The Hub, a connected student café located in downtown, for supporting this year’s parade. Special thanks to Mike Kidd, master of ceremonies; Bill Snyder and RBS for providing the judging platform; our three judges, Ashley Vickers of the Greater Greenbrier Chamber of Commerce, Barbara Phillips of City National Bank and Valerie Pritt of the Greenbrier County Convention and Visitors Bureau; Lance Syner of Court and Stratton Developers for cleaning up after Sundance; Santa Claus; and the Lewisburg Police Department for traffic control.
Trophies may be picked up upstairs at City Hall located at 942 Washington Street, West in downtown Lewisburg.
