Caldwell-William Delbert Boggs, 75, passed away peacefully Friday, July 26, 2019, at Peyton Hospice House in Lewisburg.
Born Dec. 13, 1943, in Union, he was a son of the late Delbert Roosevelt and Anna Mae Bowyer Boggs.
William was a hardworking man who loved his tractors and working on the farm. He retired after working for West Virginia Department of Highways for 30 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Roxie Louise Hefner Boggs; sister, Carol Mae Boggs; and brother, Thomas Lee Boggs.
Survivors include; son, Carl Boggs and wife Jennifer of Caldwell; daughter, Angie Totten and husband Kenny of Fairlea; sisters, Linda Baker and husband Earl of White Sulphur Springs and Jeanie Ferguson and husband James of Virginia; and grandchildren, Mathew Boggs of Caldwell, Joseph Boggs of Caldwell, and Christina Totten of Fairlea.
A graveside service was held Wednesday, July 31, at Salem Presbyterian Church Cemetery where Pastor John Groves officiated. There was no public visitation.
