Attractions, events and destinations to be considered
Wild, Wonderful West Virginia encourages industry partners to submit events, attractions and/or destinations for consideration for the Haunted West Virginia Trail, which will highlight the state’s haunted history.
“Folks love a good ghost story – whether it’s the legendary Mothman or the Greenbrier Ghost. And many find visits to places like Lake Shawnee Amusement Park or the Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum to be thrilling,” Commissioner of Tourism Amy Shuler Goodwin said. “This trail will help travelers plan their paranormal adventures in the Mountain State – providing an inventory of haunted attractions, museum collections and more.”
