The Lions of White Sulphur Springs are selling Treasure on the Mountain raffle tickets which benefit the Snowshoe Foundation’s community service and scholarships. In addition, each ticket sale from the Lion’s Club also benefits the local community.
Some of the prizes from this raffle include several brand new vehicles: a Ford Escape 4×4, a Jeep Wrangler Sport, a Ford Mustang Coupe, a Ram 1500 Quad Cab Express and more. There are also cash prizes of $1,000 to $25,000, vacation packages and jewelry. Each ticket also includes entrance to the Snowshoe Treasure on the Mountain Event on Aug. 13, with free music, food and drinks. On that day, drawings are done every five minutes from 3-7 p.m. until the entire $250,000 worth of prizes are all given away.
If you are interested in buying a ticket, or learning more about the prizes, you may contact members of the White Sulphur Lions Club. In Lewisburg, call Steve Clendenen or Marietta Lyall at 304-645-1359 (leave a message if you get a machine.) In the White Sulphur area, contact Connie McMichael at 304-536-3572 or any other White Sulphur Lions Club member.
You may also be eligible for several “early bird” drawings of $1,000 beginning Jan. 30 if you purchase your ticket now. All early bird winners remain eligible for all drawings.
For a complete list of prizes and to learn how last year’s money benefitted the communities and schools in and around Snowshoe, go to www.snowshoefoundation.org, and be sure to buy your tickets locally from the Lions Club members so that part of your dollars also benefit this community.
