The team at Big Draft Brewing in White Sulphur Springs has a fun weekend ahead with events for the whole family. Thursday, Sept. 15 is Third Thursday in White Sulphur Springs, and happy hour for Dry Creek Society members starts at 4 p.m. Hamilton Roots will be back in the Beer Garden for Plants & Pints, and Greenlight Lewisburg is hosting a Patient Drive. On the Road Hog’s Stage, Nick Durm will be live at 6 p.m.
Friday, Sept. 16, we have the Jon Stickley Trio featuring Hustle Souls on the Big Draft Outdoor Stage. Jon Stickley Trio combines Stickley’s rapid-fire flatpicking guitar with the sultry and wild yet refined melodies of Lyndsay Pruett on violin and the deep groove of Patrick Armitage on drums. These musicians fuse their collective styles into a repertoire of exciting and innovative original music along with some captivating covers. Hustle Souls is an Asheville, NC based four-piece who blend dust-covered-vinyl soul nostalgia with modern sensibility; recently named one of “Music Connections” Hot 100 Live Unsigned Artists & Bands. Driven by a lust for songwriting, the band’s fervid live performance is heightened by undeniable instrumental prowess and three-part vocal harmony.
Thanks to the Dry Creek Music & Arts Festival, the show is pay-what-you-can. Banger Burrito will be open so come with your lawn chairs and enjoy an evening of a great live music.
Sunday, Sept. 18 is the first annual Big Outdoor Gear Swap. We welcome folks to bring outdoor gear to trade or sell. Gear for biking, fishing, hunting, golf, snow and water sports, disc golf, cornhole, football, soccer, baseball, you name it. If you use it outdoors, it is welcome. Rain or shine.
