Ronceverte-Virginia Lynn “Jenny” Bland, 68, went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2023. Born Jan. 24, 1955, she was a daughter of the late Floyd Leslie Howard and the late Glenna Virginia Woodson Howard.
Jenny was a homemaker and loved her family dearly.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Persinger and several aunts and uncles.
Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Johnny Bland; son, Douglas Zimmerman; daughter-in-law, Jennifer Zimmerman; grandchildren, Hailey and Layne Zimmerman; sisters, Sandra (Mark) Stiltner and Shirley Howard; Lesley (Mary) Howard; nieces, Shelly, Patty, Tasha, and Nicole; nephews, Shaun, John and Eli; special family members, Jackie, Wayne, Sarah, Waverly, Brooke, Whitney, McKayla and Sunnie.
Graveside services were held on Friday, Dec. 22, at James Memorial Chapel Cemetery, Second Creek, WV, where Pastor Joey Morgan officiated.
