Inspired by Madonna’s ukulele rendition of “True Blue,” local musician Bob DuCharme has created the only ukulele club in West Virginia.
Their weekly practice sessions have made this band so good they are taking their show on the road. G.R.O.U.P., which stands for Greenbrier River Optimistic Ukulele Players, will be performing at the White Sulphur Springs Library on Thursday, July 25, beginning at 6 p.m. This motley crew of ukulele lovers stars a diverse variety of songs revealing the versatility of their chosen instrument. So, join us for a memorable evening with a great group of musicians. The free performance will be followed by light refreshments. Please call 304-536-1171 if you have any questions. The library is located at 344 Main Street West in White Sulphur Springs.
