The West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine (WVSOM) Pediatrics and Family Medicine clubs will host the third annual Kids Science Carnival from 10 a.m. – 12 noon, Mar. 3, at the Roland P. Sharp Alumni Conference Center.
The carnival offers free hands-on learning for kids of all ages who are interested in science. Activities for the morning event include making slime, reading X-rays and decorating cookies to look like a cell.
“The carnival is a great chance for kids in the community to interact with medical students and participate in hands-on science activities that are both fun and educational,” said Cassandra Lilli, a member of the Pediatrics Club.
Register by Mar. 1 by emailing jflowers@osteo.wvsom.edu and include child’s name and age.
