Mark your calendars: on Sunday, Apr. 10, at 3 p.m., Trillium Performing Youth will perform their annual showcase at the Lewis Theatre.
These talented dancers will share four pieces from their tour as well as their own choreography. Dancers in TPY are Georgia Foster, Jules Kessler, Zella Miller, Chloe Nelson, Neely Seams, Hannah Smart, Zenya Walters and Sallie Wittkamper.
This fall they worked with two guest choreographers, Anthony Williams and Laura Gorsuch. Laura was a member of the first TPY group and her dance will be featured at the upcoming WV State Dance Festival. Artistic Director Carli Mareneck comments: “This is a wonderful group of dancers, hard working and fun to be with as we tour schools and elder-care facilities.”
Tickets for the Sunday, Apr. 10 Showcase are $10 adults, $5 students/AmeriCorps, and children 6 and under are free. All proceeds support TPY programming.
