The annual Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place at the Green Space in downtown Lewisburg on Friday, Nov. 21, starting at 7 p.m. Each year, Lewisburg kicks off the Magic of Christmas in Lewisburg with the tree lighting, followed by several weeks of holiday magic as Christmas Day draws closer. This year, expect to see Santa at the lighting ceremony, as well as hot beverages such as hot chocolate, eggnog, and other drinks available for purchase.  Starting the weekend of the tree lighting, carriage rides will be available on certain days at the Green Space parking lot.

The Magic of Christmas in Lewisburg is a multi-week long event that brings holiday cheer to downtown for the winter season. With carriage rides, scavenger hunts, festive music, a letterbox to the North Pole, and opportunities to meet Santa Claus himself, there is something for everyone for the holiday season. Don’t forget, the Lewisburg Christmas Parade will be held Dec. 4 at 7 p.m. More details will be released as the schedule is finalized.
