The 33rd annual Taste of Our Towns (TOOT) festival will take place Saturday, Oct. 14, from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Thousands of residents and visitors from across the region gather on the streets of historic downtown Lewisburg to sample delicious food from local restaurants, civic clubs, and nonprofit organizations. Sample delicacies including dishes such as shrimp and grits from the The Greenbrier Sporting Club, deep-fried strawberries from Please Save a Cat, locally made cider and mead from Hawk Knob Cidery and Meadery, and much more.

TOKENS

All food purchases on the day of TOOT require the use of tokens. Tokens cost $1 each and they may be purchased in increments of five. If you wish to buy tokens in advance, they are available at the Carnegie Hall Box Office (611 Church St., Lewisburg, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., cash/check/credit cards accepted) and the Greenbrier County Convention and Visitors Bureau (905 Washington St. W., 9 a.m.-5 p.m., cash only). Tokens will also be available at the Carnegie Hall token booths on the day of the event. TOOT tokens will not sell out.

#TOOT2017

Use the hashtag #TOOT2017 for all of your TOOT images on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter on the day of the event to enter to win a fabulous new Carnegie Hall t-shirt! A winner will be randomly selected at 2:30 p.m. at the Carnegie Hall booth. The winner will receive a private message for next steps.

PET POLICY

Please note that while we love our companion animals, they are not permitted on festival grounds (with the exclusion of service animals) due to food safety regulations. Thank you for your cooperation.

CARNEGIE HALL TOURS

Carnegie Hall will be open to the public from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on the day of the event. Preserve WV Americorps Member Kiersten White and a team of volunteers will be hosting guided tours of the historic facility. All three galleries, including the West Virginia Music Hall of Fame, will also be open.
