On Tuesday, June 13, three individuals were arrested in an Alderson drug raid.
Cody Reed Godfrey, 25, of White Sulphur Springs, Sidney C. Oakes, 19, of Alderson, and D’Andre Lee Mathis, 27, from the Detroit, MI, area were detained in the raid.
Members of the Greenbrier Valley Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force executed a search warrant at a residence in Alderson, Greenbrier County Sheriff Bruce Sloan announced in a press release.
The search warrant was obtained after a lengthy investigation involving the distribution of Oxymorphone from the residence. The Greenbrier Valley Drug and Violent Crime Task Force was assisted by members of the Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Department, West Virginia State Police, and the Alderson Police Department. A large quantity of U.S. Currency and oxymorphone tablets were discovered during the execution of the search warrant and the three individuals were subsequently arrested for Possession with the Intent to Deliver a Schedule II Controlled Narcotic Substance, the press release said.
All three individuals were arraigned before a Greenbrier County Magistrate and bond was set at $25,000 each. They were subsequently transported to the Southern Regional Jail located in Beaver. This investigation is ongoing and additional charges are pending, the press release said.
