Thelma Irene Fuller Kincaid Smith, 91, of St. Leonard, MD, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Feb. 14, 2025.
She was born July 7, 1933, in Frankford, WV, to John and Trudie Fuller and was 1 of 7 children.
Thelma moved to Baltimore, MD, and then Washington, DC, in the 1950s where she married and started a family of her own. She was the mother to 7 children.
Thelma was predeceased in death by: her daughter, Diane Kincaid, husband, Robert Smith, sister, Glenna Lloyd and brothers, Leonard, Luther and Seldon “Heavy” Fuller.
Thelma is survived by: her sisters, Mary Kidd and Alice Coff, her daughters, Patricia Kincaid, Connie Bryant, Kyla Connors, Karen Bywater, Cheryl Wilson and son, Kevin Kincaid. Thelma considered Missy Rhodes to be her “adopted” daughter. Thelma is survived by her grandchildren: Justin, Jesse and Crystal Bywater, Colleen Connors, Denise, Allen and Brandon Wilson, Miranda Bryant, Lea and Erica Kincaid as well as four great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Thelma took immense pride in caring for her family and home. She loved to make her own quilts, painting, singing and gardening – she especially enjoyed her flowers. Thelma was a proud patriot and supporter of our veterans.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, Feb. 22 at 12 noon at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg with Pastor David Fuller officiating. Interment will follow in the Wesley Chapel Cemetery on Carroll Hill Road, Frankford, WV.
The family will receive family and friends from 11 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.
