
Thelma Graye Bostic, 83, of White Sulphur Springs passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2025 at Peyton Hospice House in Fairlea.
She was born Oct. 3, 1943 in White Sulphur Springs, the daughter of the late Porter and Ollie Beatrice Fogus Burdette.
Thelma attended the White Sulphur Springs Pentecostal Holiness Church. Her working career entailed working at Burlington Industries (Ribbon Factory); Burdette’s Clothing Store, Lewisburg Taxi Service and Food Pantry attendant at The Greenbrier Hotel.
Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her sister Lynda Susan Burdette.
Thelma leaves behind daughters, Tammy Graye Lewis (Richard) of Hillsboro and Elissa Ruth Poage (Paul) of Maxwelton; son, Timothy Lee Bostic (Micky) of Peachtree, GA.; grandchildren, Rebecca Ruth Lester (Adam), Matthew Lee White (Grace), Ryan Lane, Oliver Lane, Corey Lane (Becky) and Andrew Lane: great-grandchildren, Nicole Brown, McKayla Brown, Richard Michael White, McKenzie White, Malachi White, Porter Lane and Wyatt Lane; great-great-grandchildren; Jackson Boothe, Hunter Knapp, Kathryn Knapp and Houston Brown; sister Mary Ann Burdette of White Sulphur Springs; brother, Ernest Burdette (Margaret) of White Sulphur Springs; her faithfull companion Dollie; special friend Anne Brie as well as several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, Oct. 13, at 2:30 p.m. at the Spence Cemetery, Glace, WV, with Pastor Gene Sizemore officiating.
The family will receive family and friends from 1 until 2 p.m. on Monday Oct. 13, at the Wallace &Wallace Funeral Home in White Sulphur Springs.
