The Alderson 4th of July Committee would like to thank all of the individuals, politicians and businesses who so generously donated rubber duck prizes and who sold rubber duck tickets for our annual 2021 Alderson 4th of July rubber duck race that led to all 4,000 tickets being sold.
We would also like to thank the Alderson Volunteer Fire Department and Tri-County Fire Company for the magnificent fireworks and all of the law enforcement agencies for all of their assistance during the celebration.
A special thanks to Amanda Qualls at the Dollar General Store in Alderson and Terry McClung at The Market in Lewisburg, who sold a significant number of rubber duck tickets. Our celebration would not be what it is without the community’s support.
