Members of the Greenbrier Valley Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force served multiple search warrants at numerous locations in Greenbrier County this week. The search warrants resulted in the seizure of large quantities of several controlled substances to include: methamphetamine, fentanyl, oxycodone, and marijuana. US currency, vehicles and other properties were also seized. The Task Force was assisted by members of the Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Office, West Virginia State Police, Lewisburg Police Department, members of other regional drug task forces, and White Sulphur Springs EMS.
The results of these efforts were the culmination of an extensive investigation. Criminal charges will be forthcoming pending the conclusion of the investigation, which is continuing.
