Studio Six at Lee Street Studios announces its grand opening on Saturday, Oct. 14, from 1-5 p.m. Lee Street Studios is located at 232 N. Lee Street in Lewisburg, in the building which formerly housed the Lewisburg Elementary School.
Four artists share space in Studio Six; Romney Shelton Collins, Michael Goodbar, Diane Doerr Mitchell, and Jeanne Brenneman.
Romney Collins in a Virginia native and divides her time between Lewisburg and Port St. Lucie, FL. She paints in oils and teaches classes in both West Virginia and Florida.
Michael Goodbar resides in Lexington, VA, and specializes in woodworking, creating unique and functional art in wood.
Diane Doerr Mitchell is a native of New Jersey, now living in Clintonville. She paints in watercolor and is a signature member of the West Virginia Watercolor Society.
Jeanne Brenneman is a native of Pennsylvania and has lived and painted in West Virginia since 1973. She is a signature member of the West Virginia Watercolor Society and a founding member of Greenbrier Artists, a local art group which has painted weekly since 1974.
