The Greenbrier Historical Society’s 15th Annual Stellar Evening fundraiser proved once again to be a “stellar” time! We had a wonderful evening with dancing, good food, and a fun atmosphere! Thank you to everyone who helped make it a success!
The Lewisburg Elk’s Country Club was beautifully arranged and decorated by members of the Greenbrier Historical Society and the staff of TLP, Inc. Festive candles surrounded by live greenery sat on each table – bringing classic Christmas charm to the decorations. The tables were generously provided by Carnegie Hall and St. James Episcopal Church while the linens were supplied by Gillespie’s Flowers and Productions.
The music played by Trio Grand began softly while guests enjoyed hors d’oeurves and drinks and caught up with old friends. A very talented group, Trio Grand, played a variety of soft jazz during the delicious dinner and dessert served by TLP. After dinner, up-beat tempos began and couples took to the dance floor for the rest of the evening.
The Greenbrier Historical Society once again hosted a silent auction during the event with items generously donated by the following businesses and individuals: Peggy Boso Ryan, Be Sweet Confectionary, Cakes and Cones, The Bakery, Del Sol, Washington Street Gallery, Greenbrier Cut Flowers, Hill and Holler Bicycle Works, Jim’s Drive In, Food & Friends, Carnegie Hall, Ann Bell & Company, Robert Tuckwiller, Nick LaCasse, The Livery, Margaret and David Hambrick, Karen Lee and Mike McClung, S. J. Neahawk Lumber, Joan Montgomery, Cliff Baker, Tom and Sissy Isaac, Elizabeth Spangler, Simms Exxon, Plants Etc., The Irish Pub, Caring Hands Massage, and Greenbrier Valley Baking Company.

If you were not able to make it to this year’s Stellar Evening but would still like to give, GHS is still offering NIP Tax Credits to any donation $500 and up. These credits allow the donor to take up to 50 percent of their donation off of their WV State tax liability.
