Orlando, FL-Stella Rider Lee, 81, formerly of Huntington, passed away Monday morning, Dec. 21, 2015.
Born Aug. 16, 1934, in Alvon, she was a daughter of the late Walter Denver and Thelma Gertrude White Rider.
Stella was a member of Highlawn Baptist Church in Huntington. In her early years, she worked for Maid Bess Clothing Company and she retired from the Kinney Shoe Company in Huntington after 25 years of service.
Preceding her in death, other than her parents, was a sister, Agnes R. Callison.
Survivors include: three daughters, Kathryn M. Lee of Orlando, FL, Joyce A. Lewis of Salem, VA and Betty J. Watts of Huntington; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were conducted on Saturday, Dec. 26, at the Alvon United Methodist Church Cemetery at Alvon. There was no visitation.
