State Social Studies Fair winners recognized by BOE

GCS Social Studies Fair Coordinator Jason Johans (left), Kylie Thompson (GHES), Anne Linbergh (GEHS), Indigo Graves (Greenbrier Episcopal School), Chase Zobrist (Greenbrier Episcopal School), Abby Warfield (Frankford Elementary), Paige Altizer (Frankford Elementary), Bridgette Altizer (EGMS) and Director of Career and Technical Education Julie Shiflet.

State Social Studies Fair winners from Greenbrier County were introduced to the Greenbrier County Board of Education on May 9 by GCS Social Studies Fair Coordinator Jason Johans and Director of Career and Technical Education Julie Shiflet.
“We commend each of these students on their success at the school, county, regional and state level competition. Having refined and improved their project presentations with each phase of competition, these students proudly submitted their best at the state level and it paid off. These students have performed at the highest level in creating and presenting exemplary social studies fair projects,” stated Johans.
The following students were awarded Certificates of Pride during Time Out for Applause: Kylie Thompson (GHES), Anne Linbergh (GEHS), Indigo Graves (Greenbrier Episcopal School), Chase Zobrist (Greenbrier Episcopal School), Abby Warfield (Frankford Elementary), Paige Altizer (Frankford Elementary) and Bridgette Altizer (EGMS).
