State Historic Preservation Office hosts informational webinar for annual Survey and Planning Grant

The West Virginia State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) is hosting an informational webinar for their annual Survey & Planning Grant. This funding is designated to conducting architectural and archaeological surveys, nominating historic properties to the National Register of Historic Places, drafting pre-development plans, etc. Learn more about the grant by attending our webinar on Oct. 1, 2024, from 2 to 3 p.m. The link for this webinar is available by visiting our website listed below or contacting Claire Tryon at Claire.E.Tryon@wv.gov. 

The funding source for this grant program is the Historic Preservation Fund from the National Park Service. Applicants may be state or local government agencies, not-for-profit organizations, private citizens, religious organizations, educational institutions, or Certified Local Governments. All applications are due on Oct. 31, 2024, via our virtual application portal.
